Sniff... Bye-Bye D....

Well, It finally happened. I had to sit back and really analyze where I was at with my lease and it's value and the gas prices and the lifestyle. Unfortunately, when all things fell in place, the D came out the loser.

I went down to the local Dodge/Jeep dealership and checked out the stock. By the time I left I ended up walking out with a 25K Grand Cherokee with the 6 cylinder 4.0. I had sold off my travel trailer this spring and couldn't truthfully justify the 5.9 and its mileage anymore. So far, the jeep has been giving me 21+ on the highway and it's only got 150 miles on it so it's bound to get even better later. I do miss the higher ride and the V8, but at times you just gotta look at everything and be realistic about it.

Oh well, I traded in JGC for the D, so I guess it was only right to trade in the D for another JGC.

Anyone know of a Jeep Owners Club out there????
