Same thing here. I got it fixed!

Unfortunately, the only way to do so is to take it to a muffler shop and have 'em weld it up. The Gibson system is kind of "lopsided", so it always tries to rotate. The clamps simply won't hold it unless you get a really good bite. I hit them as hard as I could with a breaker bar and mine still rotated. I had all the connections welded up for $15 and have not had a problem in 60k miles.
