Read my post immediately above yours before you do the mod. It's real easy to do. Just buy a 10K resistor from Radio Shack, and some butt connectors. Cut either one of the 2 wires coming from the IAT Sensor, and splice the resistor onto the cut wire. I have read that some people started hearing pinging noises after they did the mod, and some had to upgrade to higher octane gas to stop the pinging. But since you have the 5.9 you are probably already using hi test gas. I don't know if the 5.9 owners were hearing that pinging or not, but I have read that some 4.7 owners were.
