I think the sound is just great. Nice confident tone when you push it. It is barely louder than stock when crusing and idling. I think the fact that the durango is so large isolates the driver from the noise of the exhaust. I used to have an eclipse with an exhaust, and it annoyed the out of me on the highway. This exhaust for the durango, however, is excellent and not bothersome to me. Hope this helps.
