Trouble Installing Gibson Catback?

I just installed the gibson catback exhaust for my 4.7 2000. I took off the old pipe and muffler by using a hacksaw. Everything came off the hangers without a problem. Putting the new muffler and tailpipe on was also pretty easy. The only problem I am having is keeping the tailpipe from hitting my passenger side leaf spring. It seems that no matter how tight I installed the bracket around the muffler and 2.5 inch piping in front of it, the whole exhaust seems to rotate counterclockwise. Has anyone else had this problem? and how have they solved it? Any help would be appreciated. I'll post pictures if necessary. I'd really like to finish this job myslef, and not have to have it welded in place at a muffler shop. Thanks.
