You might want to look at the Superwinch model S-4500. It is about the same size and weight as the Warn but with a 4500lb line pull. Combine a snatch block and you can effectively double the pulling power (~9000lbs) while reducing the pull speed by half. This setup won't replace a 9000lb winch but should get you out of most situations at a reasonable cost. Summit has this Winch for $359.95. The snatch block is about another $50.
