3923's and 5224's are essentially the same. The 5224's are the stock replacement plugs. They are the same heat range and have the same 'projector tip' design. The 3923's are one heat range colder than stock and have a standard tip. If you want to keep the 'projector tip' style, get the 5223 plugs. Just walk up to parts counter of any auto parts store and ask for 3923 Autolite plugs. I got mine at Kragan for .99 each.John (SpeedD)
