Here's a pix of my SS Grille Inserts....

...and we took the original slats out of the grille, as once these SS are on, you won't want the look that the originals give. The original inserts are like pop rivited on, and if ya start in one corner, say at one of the upper corners, they'll snap out. I had instructions in my SS box about this. I believe they can be installed over the original inserts, as there's screws or something in the grille corners to hold them on. It's been over 6 month's since I installed these, so am going on memory here.
