Which engine/transmission?

The transmission behind the 4.7L is completely different than the one used with the 5.2/5.9 ..

I'm sure the oil level is OK if it's just a little above the full mark. Oil pressure again depends on which engine you have, my 99 5.9L usually reads 2/3-3/4 scale at cruise. Is the oil pressure gauge behaving differently since you added oil?
