From what you have said , I would think all you need is a FT4WD. Since you seam not to want to worry about engaging and disagaging the transfer case. I find you only get 1 or 2 mpg better with a PT4WD.
Personally I would pay more for the Part time then a full time. I have the part time I travel at 65 mp/h with it engaged and no problem I have also wlked it up to the govenor setting I think 110 mp/h. For me it was because i wanted the 2 wd option.But again that just my opinion. Dan
