Re^2: steering wheel audio controls

SoundGate and PAC are the only places. Soundgate is the only I found which makes an adapter for the the steering wheel. The one they make with the Alpine CDA-D852 and CDA-D855 (the upgraded model from the 852) I have done an entensive search and pretty sure these are the only units and adapter desigened to work.

The only option I know of for the Blaujunk is an infrared (PAC?). For thses types, the transmitter portion needs to be placed to point at the head unit. THese are unreliable when the sun comes through the windshield.

The attached is a picture of my 852. I have installed the Soundgate Remote1 (cost me $129 sure the dealer cost is less than $100).
