help on tire info

This is Non D related but someone out there may be able to help... I have a 94 Explorer Sport 2WD and would like to get osme new tires. Tire rack says that they cannot recommend anything other than factory tires (go figure) How can I find out what the biggest I can go with is? I'm looking at Dunlop Radial Rover... I have Pirelli 255/70/15's now... can I go much bigger? any links or info would be appreciated!Thanks,
