Mike here are the wire codes from the '99 FSM. Wire 1 - DB/WT (Dark Blue/White) Fused Ign Switch Output (Start/Run) Wire 2 - Black - Ground Wire 3 - VT/BK (Violet/Black) - Back Up Lamp Feed
I don't know why or what the back up lamp feed has to do with the mirror but it looks like you want wire 1 & 2 anyway.
