Should I trade?

I some how let my wife talk me out of 4wd on my D.
She and dealer said not enough snow here (Tennessee) to need it, and what little we had, the 2wd will be fine.

Well, we have had the most snow we have had in years, only a few inches at a time, but quite a few times already, and the winter is still young.
The 2wd D handles like a sled. 4wd trucks of all types were buzzing by me, and going up hills, while I was just sliding down them.

My D is a 2000 with 7000 miles...about 6 months old.
Am I gonna get reamed if I try and trade for a 4wd?

How long should you hold onto it before you wont?

I financed for 5 years with 5.9%

Dont flame me, just let me know what I am up against.
