Spliced into wiring from the 24/7 12vt output on the dash... (sorry about pic quality, taken in the dark just now)..

CB doesn't use a whole lot of power so plenty's left for accessories.

Ran the + and - wiring behind and under all the center console area. I pulled the small compartment out of the console and and located the remote unit down at the bottom next to the heating duct (just epoxed it to the side of the console. I then ran the main cord to the CB along side the seat to the front and the antenna cord under the driver's seat. I had to cut the plastic crossbar in front of the heating duct out to fit the cables through (not real noticeable in my opinion).

I then ran the antenna wire out from under the drivers seat into the side pillars under the plastic.

SEE PIC #2

Then ran wiring under all the side compartments and under rear side glass to where I mounted a "through glass" antenna - not the strongest reception but good enough for me.

SEE PIC #3

Mounted CB to the dash next to rear wiper control (hint : mount CB holder so CB slides in and out of holder on a horizontal plane - this way you don't have to fight with the upper dash unit everytime you go to get it or put it back! - left(in) to right(out), not up or down.

SEE PIC #4

Then mounted the exterior antenna to the glass mount (stick out above Durango about a foot and a half)
Good luck with the direction you decide to take!
