Carrying heavy loads in the back of the D

I sometime carry heavy loads of animal feed in the back of the D. It can hold a lot J, but it also puts a heavy strain on the rear suspension. I also tow various light to medium weight trailers with the D. I am thinking of adding an extra leaf spring and/or air shocks to the rear. Before I do anything I thought I'd ask this forum to get some additional ideas and feedback. Any ideas / suggestions please reply to post or email me.
