My stupid question

The reason for the fog lights is to give better visibility in foggy or snowy conditions. Getting the light low with respect to the driver's eyes helps prevent the dazzle that's difficult to see through. Hence the fog lights with low beam only. I'm not trying to flame anyone...just want to know why you'd want to make the hi beam change.[ This message was edited on Mon Jan 1 at 2:19pm by the author ]
