really dont have an much evidednce to my claim, but. My family has a Chevy Tahoe and a 98 5.9 3.92 D The D is tons better in the snow. I believe it is more rubber touching the ground(or snow) The 10.5 inch wide tires really seem to help. It is just more stable aand nibble. Teh limites Slip Diff helps a ton when ur trying to get unstuck, its what got me out earlier this year.
