I got the same black box from KC, but have yet to install it. My instructions don't say anything about using a test light. It says only to attach the green quad beam wire to the low beam and the white quad beam wire to the high beam on one side of the truck or the other. They don't say how to figure which one is which. Looking at the wiring diagram in the service manual (99) doesn't help me much either.

It appears that the white/violet wires are for low beams and the red/orange wires are for high beams. The right headlight should also have third red/light green wire leading to the power distribution center while the left side has a red/tan third wire. That's according to the book. Now to go out and take a look-see.

I know this shouldn't be brain surgery, but...
