No matter which color you get, they all need to be cleaned. Do yourself a favor and check out Zainos site. He has some very good products which will protect your paint.
Comes down to, washing it a lot if you want your D to look good.
FWIW, I have 2 black cars, 1 red, 1 white and 1 blue and my D is Patriot Blue. Lots of washing :)
