I got a Tripp Lite for my lap top, I think it will power more than that though. The first one I got at Radio Shack, would not connect to my lap top, so I took it back and listened to the guy insult me till I got tired of that and gave him a few words of wisdom. So then, I got one somewhere else that works great. I see no reason why you could not plug in a 12 volt cooler also, the wireing is heavy enough to do it, or it wouldn't have the plug ins.
