Another story of society...

Last week at 3pm in the afternoon, my co-worker had his pickup stolen from our parking lot at work! A couple of our co-workers saw the dorks casing the vehicles in the parking lot and flew down the stairs but they were already inside and had the engine running before they got there.

The nice thing about it is that the police station is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! It was a '91 chevy with little insurance. I guess the good thing is they actually found the truck idling in a hotel parking lot and called my co-worker and told him where to pick it up... it was still running when he got there. Nice police work fellas.

I'm just glad my D wasn't there. I started work at 4pm so I only missed being a casualty by an hour! I am lucky enough to keep it garaged at all times when at home. I am just getting worried about when I'm at work. Not the nicest part of town. Other side of parking lot is a nasty motel full of meth labs.

I love society!... NOT!
