Adding height to D?

I want to add a little height to my D, but I don't want to go as extreme as a body lift or a suspension lift. Would adding a set of Rancho RS 9000's or something like them help with ride height any? If not, what is a good way of doing so. I don't wanna seriously compromise ride comfort. Thanks.
