Took the D to the dealer this AM. Needs some warranty work done. The 1st thing my 5* Dealer says to me is this" Your headers VOID the warranty". How F'n nice. I says "Oh please mister, I know that I have STUPID tattoed across my forehead and all". Then I says"Bite me, and do the work! And by the way, on the way up here, I had a very hard time keeping up with a Saturn, that SHOLD NOT BE! Fix the da n truck".

I then called Enterprise car rental, and told them to pick me up. I had made a rez for a D. The guy comes in a F RD Explorer. At least it didn't have Firestones. :-) He says the D is at the shop, & we'll go get it. Guess what? They didn't have one.

To make a long story short, I wound up with a Tahoe for less than a D. People, let me tell you about this truck. The big thing, MORE ROOM. Toys, WOW. It's got grab bars & ac vents & heater ducts & seats everywhere. This one has a tailgate set-up, & I would go with the cargo doors. There's storage compartments all over the place. It comes with cargo netting, and tie-down points built in. The gages and controls need to be gotten use to. It has a cir lighter and 2 extra wells in a hidden compartment, it's even got ashtrays in the back.

It's got ALOT OF ZIP. I forgot my fuzz-buster in the D. It can sure get out of it's own way, and fast too. It's a 2001. Got to be fair. My D has 14K and is 2 years old. It's to to bad. Just a real shame, I tell you. All that good going for it. Guess what? The D has a MUCH better ride, and handles much better too. Guess what else? The D has more leg room, and that's what I need more than anything else.

What a shame that D/C killed the full sized D. What ever it was to be called. They would of had a sure stone Suburban Killer. I guess that I'll have to go ahead and keep the D. Oh well. ;-) Still, I think that we might keep the Tahoe a week, to see how my wife likes it, and if she could even see over the wheel. 8-) She's a little girl. Only 5'2". What do they say? Oh yeah, "Dynamite comes in smsll packages". She's a red head too. Even a Scorpio if you get into that stuff.

Well, depending on what the wife says, I'll keep you all posted on D v T. I'll try and be non-biased too.
