It's Done, & My D Is No Doubt About It, Male.

After 6 gruelling hours, 180 mg of morphine, sick wife stuck, with babt girl, by herself most of the day, I discovered that our D has MALE genitailia. Got the DynoMax Street Series headers, & DynoMax UltraFlo muffler, with the DynoMax Spout installed. They said that they will NEVER work on a D again. You have to take to many things off to get at the work area. My buddy's shop ahs only been doing exhaust work for 24 years.

When we Finally got out of there, it was MAJOR LEAGUE RUSH HOUR. I did notice the sound differance immediately. Well after fighting my way to the expressway, I figured okay, now I can get on it. NO CHANCE! Bumper to bumper. 2/7 MPH. Breaklight city. So I got off. I opened the D up every chance I got, but I'd always close the gap to soon to determine anything. Besides, I had a time deadline to pick-up my son at school.

I droped my wife off at the door to get our son, and was sitting in this parking lot when I noticed something. Do you know what these nice people at my son's school had done just for me? They had freshly asphalted their parking lot, and there was a strech that was about a block long. :-) :-) Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Aiiiieeeeeeeee. God is good... :-)

I backed the D up as far as I could on this strech, and waited. I saw my wife and son coming out from the scool, and I stood on it. From a dead stop, in D, it got smoke all the way thru 1st, and chirped into 2nd when I had to shut down. Wow. Even though I felt like I wanted to die, and hurt like a wounded bear, I voulenteered for any little errand I could do. I did get a few (to few) chances to strech out the D, but it seemed like every copper in the area was waiting by my street?

I realized later that evening, the reason I didn't have enough time in traffic to notice any improvments was that I was moving quicker. :-) As in much. :-) There still is a few flat spots, but I guess my other mods will address those issues.

Was it worth the wait? YES. Would I go through the hassle again? Probably. Would I recommend DynoMax? So far, YES. Now I was just an observer, and I DID OBSERVE. The guys only beef was that it was very tight quartes to work in. The fit was smooth, and easy to line up. Ease of job? Need 2 people. I was told that there is a special header bolt (that Summit did NOT include), and that I might develope yearly gasket probs (all headers)but thats a problem with headers in general. Does anybody know of such probs? Do I have improved mileage? Not yet. :-) Probably won't for awhlile. :-)

I'll keep you all posted over time, also, I pass out a warning when I'm leaving the metro Chicago area. I do still fly low. Now even more so. Hehehe.
