Dodge Durango Forum II

If you have it painted I will only cost YOU, future buyers will be suspect. (more)

Considering you don't want to trade it in and take a hit on its value...I would submit that in spite of the expense to improve your D with the new paint job, it will hurt you in the end. People WILL wonder why it was totally repainted. And the money spent would not be seen as an appreciation to anyone.

I traded in my 98 for a 99 and I didn't feel cheated by the dealer. I actually felt that I got a good deal. I would suggest that you give that a try.

ps. I have owned a Body Shop since 1981...and I don't think you would want to pay me what I would charge to do a complete. As "simple" as it sounds, a lot of teadious work is required to do a good job. And you see... a "good" job wouldn't satisfy anyone. It would need to be perfect.
