Re: Are there any reasons to not crank the torsion bars to lift the front of my D?

If you've got a complete stock setup, you'll have to do something to level it out in the rear - You'll end up sitting rearend low.

A few things to keep in mind...

1) Each change of torsion bar height should be re-aligned.

2) Stock, the D has relatively horizontal axle half-shafts. Cranking the Torsion bars will leave them pointing downward - increasing these angles will place more stress on the driveline.

and final thought for the day...

3) Those bolts are on their really tight. Unless you've got air tools, you'll be lucky if you do more than pull a muscle or crap in your pants trying to move them! :)
