Problem with the air conditioner

A few months ago, I saw a post on this site that mentioned they were having a problem with the air conditioner freezing up. I've got the same problem. It only happens in hot, humid weather. I'll be driving for 1 to 2 hours with the air on, then the air will stop flowing out of the vents. You can hear the blower running somewhere behind the instrument panel, but no air coming out of the vents. The only way to make it run normally is to pull off, shut down for a few minutes and then restart. This has happened two or three times since I've had my "D". It's a '99 with the 5.2.

I had my dealer check it out but, of course, they cannot duplicate the problem. And, now it's cooler here in southern Ohio so I wouldn't expect the problem to crop up. According to the dealer, everything is fine (refrigerant level, compressor, etc).

I thought I saw a reply to the earlier post that identified the problem. However, I did not save the information.

Any ideas? Is there a TSB from Dodge that identifies the cause of this problem? I would appreciate any information that anyone would have. Thanks!
