Why Change from factory?

Why do you feel you need to switch in the first place?

I have seen this come up with my other cars. A friend runs his car at 25 + lbs of boost with a stock iginition. As he explains, if you think you have a ignition problem, gap your plugs down. If it goes away, you have isolated it to the ignition. IF not look elsewhere.

I figure, these engines dont rev high, so why switch? Of course maybe you like aftermarket, but I question the quality control on a lot of stuff and it looks like you have run into this.
