I hope you like yours. I have the Mopar unit which is the same thing except it has a Mopar sticker. The install was easy and yes the hat does touch the hood liner. It touches very lightly and the rub marks don't bother me. The performance increase was slightly noticable (I did a Borla exhaust at the same time so I don't know for sure how much was due to the intake.) The only complaint that I have is an amplified hissing sound between 1/2 and 3/4 throttle. It sounds cheap in my opinion. At full throttle it really growls.Good luck and let us know what you think!
