Re: Help with Accel distributor cap/rotor part number...

I installed the Accell cap, rotor, and ignition coil along with AC Rapidfire plugs a few months ago. I don't remember the part numbers, but they fit perfectly. I'll check when I get home and post the numbers. Last week I finally got around to installing some MSD 8.5 wires. Great quality and the little plastic pieces for numbering the wires are a nice touch. I used the stock wire seperators to hold the wires for now by clamping them partially closed with zip ties. I'll get some new seperators or modify the stock ones in the near future.

My mileage seems slightly improved on the highway at slower speeds, but when I cross 65 mph, it's just as crummy as ever. I'm hoping the computer will adjust, but I may resort to resetting it instead. Now that the wires will handle it I'm going to try opening the gaps on the plugs some. Last time I did that, power was increased off the line, but the stock wires started to leak and the idle got too rough.
