Dodge Durango Forum II

Off topic but car related. Concerning placement of aftermarket ignition box.

I have a Jacobs Electronic Mileage Master ignition (I took it off my 87 Dak before trading it in the only problem I had with it was it wouldn't run right with out converting it to a simple electronic ignition like the Mopars in the '70s).
Wanted to try it on my daily driver 88 ply sundance.

Anyway the only place I can put in the engine compartment is to build a shelf above the tranmission.
It is also right behind the fan. Is this an ok place or should I try to put it under the passenger seat?

Have no plans of putting it on my "D". I will use MSD. It did make an improvement on my Dak, seat of the pants. Figured It's paid for and 10yrs old so why not use it somewhere.
