Just found this site - way cool. I just had my "D" in for some service. One of the 'problems' I had them look at was the rear hatch not locking properly from the key fob - only to discover a number of other people on this forum had the same problem.

I hope I'm not alone on this next either. My 2000 "D" has about 18K km's on it, leather seats, with the third seat option. It also has rear A/C. Over the past couple of months, I've been noticing an odor in the "D" - most pronounded as soon as you climb in (not suprisingly). We've never spilled anything in it (to my knowledge), nor do we use the "max" setting for the A/C (I've heard this can cause condensation/mildew in the vents). Although its hard to isolate a 'smell' - it seems to me that the smell seems most pronounced on the back of the third seat. Could it be the glue used to hold the carpet onto the seat?

Please help - its making the driving experience of my "D" much less enjoyable :-/
