I just did a super-dumb thing and hurt my poor D. I had rented a UHaul trailer for moving, took it off to do some errands around town, and when I put it back on I got distracted and failed to tighten it on the hitch ball. So of course, when I stepped into the trailer, carrying a heavy item, the trailer tongue jumped up, the trailer slid forward and slammed into the rear just below the wiper - good thing it didn't hit the glass, but it made a big dent in the tailgate. I immediately went to look in a mirror to see if someone had tattooed "mush for brains" (or some other substance in lieu of brains) on my forehead. I felt (and still feel) incredibly stupid and careless.
