Bigger or regular tires, lettering showing or none...please read

Ok, went for a hike this weekend and noticed that the sides of my tires have some cuts, small bits missing, etc. 98 D by the way, tires have ~46k miles on them. So it looks like it is time to make the replacement, probably to BFG's.

2 questions I need help (or pics) on:

1) I am considering getting the larger tires that fit (and rub..not sure if they are 32" or whatever...one size larger than the big stock tires)...but I really want to see some pics of other D's with them. I have only seen one, the red one (sorry, forget who's that is). Others have them but have been lifted too.

2) The white lettering on the tires... show it, or dont show it? Anyone have a pic of their D with BFG's with the white lettering showing? I know, this one is nit picky, but I LOVE my D and want to make sure it looks its coolest.
