My Beretta GTZ had the same issue. These decorative caps are glued, pressed on, or maybe both. Impact air wrenches will loosen these over time. I always break the lug nuts loose with a breaker bar, or long handled ratchet wrench & socket. Once they are loose, I use a non-impact air ratchet to remove them completely. Reverse the order to put them back on. This solved the problem on the Beretta, and I do the same on my D. You may want to request that mechanics who work on your wheels do the same. I'm not sure they will though, since it does take longer.
