I've got an Ultra Flow...

installed on my '00 5.9L, however the P/M is 17296 (3" I/O). Ninety-five percent of the time I love it, but that other 5 percent will knock the fillings out of your teeth! It's a pretty "rappy" sound and when my 5.9L D is pulling a load or going up hill, between about 1600-1900 rpm...ouch, mama! Hold the conversation and hope you don't have a hangover! I've suffered it for about two months, and I'm ready to go back to the muffler shop and see what the guy can do. He initially wanted to install a FM 70, but I told him I wanted to be rapper instead ;-) But, I noticed that he installed the Ultra Flow as far to the rear as he could, leaving a pretty fair space for an additional add-on. Otherwise, it has a nice sound, and you'll barely know its there at cruising speed.
