Is it the "hot fan" sound you are hearing?...

The D has a "thing" it does where the fan gets REALLY loud when the engine bay is hot (like after sitting still with the engine running). When this happens the engine is noisy (sounds like it is reving high) and there is a feeling of lack of power. Try it again and see if that is what is going on.

this fan thing is wierd and threw me at first. Andy B
