I got Smittybilts instead of Westins, and when I installed them, I didn`t bother to put on my glasses. After installation, I noticed the same misalignment. Upon closer examination (glasses on, this time), I found that the rear brackets are longer than the fronts. Needless to say, I installed two rears on the left and two fronts on the right. My second installation looks much better! Duh!
