I believe that all of the Optimas are the same physical dimensions. The top color indicates whether the battery is deep cycle or not. The red top pretty much replaces your OEM battery, meaning it is not designed to be dischearged completely and recharged many times. You will have to figure out how to attach the hold downs.

I have had the same problem but bought an 8 year warranty battery to exactly replace the OEM battery for about $70.00. It hads a 3 year 100% replacement then 5 years pro rated. I like Optimas and other Spiral batteries but they are expensive. I will install one in my Jeep when its OEM dies, I use its winch quite often. Sorry this probably does not help much.
