I saw a company called Warranty Gold on the Edmunds.com website. Edmunds recommends them, for what that's worth. Anyhow it costs about $1300 for 7 yr 100,000 warranty with a $50 deductible. You can purchase the warranty anytime before the 36,000 expires, though it may cost a bit more at that time. They provide interest free installments over a 1 year period if you purchase. Seems OK. Other programs through Warrany Gold are also available. It is transferable and if you sell the D before the warranty is over you can get back a prorata part of the premium cost. Hope this helps. EOM
