Yes But a TSB for a Program Reflash is not a Defect (more)

The TSB/Recall for the reflash of the PCM in the 2000's is so the PCM can detect if there is a catyltic conv failure. The programs have to be approved by the feds, thus they couldnt use them when many D's were built last fall, including mine. This was held up by the FEDS or it would have been used in the first place.

I would love to learn how the code in the PCM operates. IF we could only find someone who could create some hot programs other than MaMopar. I know of a couple of people who burned hot programs on the old logic modules in turbo cars. There was plenty of FAT in the fuel curve at WOT on the Turbos so people wouldnt run lean. These guys remaped the boost curve, spark advance, etc They could custom design programs depending on the mods done to the car, octane etc. Some bought 3 program modules which were switch selectable depending on gas. Of course you can also use a 10$ bleeder valve on the wastegate and a 30$ Dawes A/F meter on the O2.
