My D, picked up a month or so ago, has been "perfect" for me, but someone else might have found noises or rattles that I don't notice. I also remember reading, in Consumer Reports issues of many years past (say in the 60's) of the myraid of defects in each new car they would buy. Some were cosmetic, others not, but I think it's in the nature of the beast.
But who cares, if the dealer makes it right? And that's another reason to buy from a dealer you trust, rather than shopping around merely for the lowest price.
