I have the functional version...with the same plans (more)

I have run the D through car washes, huge rainstorms, and big puddles and never had a problem. There are some small drainage holes which will let the water out. A few times after a good washing, I have opened the hood (forgetting the water that may be inside) and water pours in on the intake. No problem! It'll evaporate off as soon as you start driving!-Chris
PS - I got the functional version to keep air flowing in the engine compartment. I will be adding a supercharger too, but I figured any additional air is good! I think the best thing will be when I start getting things ceramic coated, that way it'll lower the underhood temps, AND the hood will let that bleed off quickly. Until I get my liquid nitrogen cooled intake! :-P
