Their claims process seems very straightforward. The repair shop has to call to pre-qualify the claim prior to beginning work. They say that they do not try to influence the mechanic or in any way affect the parts or time needed for the job during this process. When the work is complete, the shop calls again and one-source provides them with a corporate credit card number to pay the bill right then and there. No submitting forms, reimbursement, etc.
I had a question regarding acceptable shops as the contract specifies "licensed" repair facilities. I emailed this question to one source and they were very prompt and professional in their reply. The answer was that the shop must hold a license to conduct business (business license). This, I am sure is to keep people from having their neighbor Fred call and run up bogus repair bills.
They also cover towing, rental vehicles if the car has to stay overnight, seals and gaskets (a big problem with "D"'s). Many of the others that I have looked at only cover seals and gaskets if they are necessary for another mechanical repair.
