SuperCharger, Centrifugal or Whipple screw type... can't seem to decide (more)

I'm leaning for either Vortech or Paxton (centrifugal) maybe ATI because of the intercooler, and Kenne Bell (root type) which i saw on StreetTruck article where they install on a 5.2 Durango/Dakota. Rear wheel hp from 171.8 (stock) to 266.5 (S/C) and the torque line is just flat, right from down low (rpm), at 6 psi... instant boost vs a gradual boost for centrifugal.
Power down low or up there at high rpms... sincerely i want both! (don't we all)
does that mean that centrifugal has "better" boost at high rpm than "root" and vise versa?
and lousy low end boost?
big irony is that the more i research the more i seem to be confuse!
any thoughts...
