Warranty Gold, link on the Edmunds site. For around 1300 you should be able to get a defect/wear and tear warranty covering everything except (there is a list containing most of what you would imagine, brake pads etc.). No deductible etc etc. Same payment scenario etc. etc. Looks pretty good, they have a forum on Edmunds too (although alot of competitors post alot of flames there).
I just bought the same type of policy through my (Chevy) dealer that is administered by Travellers insurance. I think the company selling it is Interstate. Same price Same coverage (figured it was best to go through the dealer since they will probably be doing the work...they got a good rep around here). With my second First Model Year vehicle...I thought I would get some extra coverage. If you want the particulars, email me.
The key to all of these is the wear and tear provision. That way, if a bearing wears out it will be covered. It doesn't have to break.
