Don't know if anyone has read this yet...but the April 2000 Motor Trend has a very nice article on a 2000 Dakota R/T 5.9L build up test.

JBA Headers, K&N Gen-II (Mopar Sticker), B&B Tri-Flow Exhaust, Hotchkis Suspension, etc.

Stock 1/4 mile Test Time16.0 @ 85.8

M/T Built 1/4 mile Test Time15.5 @ 89.6

No modified throttle body, computer, or rollers...Not bad for bolt-ons. (.5 second increase = approximately 20HP at the rear wheels.)

I would think they should have been able to get the 20 HP incresae with just the air intake kit and cat-back system. So it doen't look like the JBA's did much at all.

John.

PS. I did not go searching for this message. I just clicked the send/recieve button to clear out my e-mail before calling it a night and it was there so I am posting it here.
