First graders getting shot by first-graders. What's next? Is this going to spill over into our preschools? My girlfriend's daughter is five and will start school this Fall. After seeing the tragedy today, she is scared. She didn't really expect "problems" like this to be a consideration until her daughter got up to 6th or 7th grade. I'd like to see who is responsible for the boy getting his hands on a handgun in the first place. I consider myself a moderated conservative. When are we, as adults, going to show more responsiblity with our guns? I, personally, don't own any firearms, but a lot of my friends do. They seem to take every precaution imaginable with their guns. I don't get it. HOW DID THIS BOY GET THIS GUN??? At seven, I was thinking more of going outside and playing on our merry-go-round. What's going through kid's minds now-a-days? I guess we'll find out tomorrow... sorry for the interruption.
