It is definately from the front and only happens when pressing on the brakes, no matter how slight. The fix that the dealer did worked but only for a little while, since then it has gotten even worse than when it started. Oh well. Thanks for the info!

Are you sure that the sound is in the front? There is currently a problem with the rear leaf springs. You dealer should be well aware of this. They have worked on mine twice in the last month, and have now advised that Chrysler is sending all new leaf springs, and when they come in next week, they will call me to schedule a date for the replacement. My D has 12,000 miles, and the noise started at 4,500.
